Presidency University welcomed the freshmen of Fall 2019 through a colourful reception on October 15, 2019. To celebrate the occasion the Gulshan campus was decorated colourfully.
The program started at 11 am in the Conference Hall. The Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr. Matiur Rahman chaired the session. The programme started with the welcome address by the university advisor Maj Gen Kazi Ashfaq Ahmed (Retd). Among the others who spoke on the occasion were Prof. Dr. Mohammed Muniruzzaman, Pro Vice Chancellor; Prof. Dr. Nurur Rahman, the dean of School of Business; Prof. Dr. Abul Lais M.S Haque, the dean of School of Engineering; Prof. Dr. Md. Idris Ali, the chairman of the department of CE; Y.A.M Rafiqul Haq, the chairman of the department of BBA and Md. Habibullah, the chairman of the department of English. All the speakers encouraged the learners to use their time effectively so that they can build a better career and contribute to the development of the country in future.
