Anas Bin Faruque graduated with distinction in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), ranking among the top students of his cohort. His research focuses on sustainable ground improvement, particularly bio-mediated soil stabilization techniques such as Microbially Induced Calcite Precipitation (MICP) and Enzyme-Induced Calcite Precipitation (EICP). Anas has conducted multiple research projects exploring innovative methods for soil stabilization, including the use of biochar, biopolymers, and agricultural enzymes as sustainable alternatives to traditional calcium-based stabilizers.

Anas is currently interested in integrating machine learning into civil engineering applications, with a focus on geotechnical and structural problems. He is passionate about combining experimental geotechnics with data-driven methods and environmentally responsible engineering solutions to develop innovative and resilient infrastructure systems. His current research interests also include seismic hazard analysis and site response analysis, reflecting his commitment to advancing disaster-resilient design and infrastructure planning.

Anas Bin Faruque completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), with a major in Geotechnical Engineering and a minor in Structural Engineering. Prior to that, he earned his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Dhaka College and his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Misbahul Ulum Kamil Madrasah.
