Tasmania Nawrin is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Presidency University, having joined in 2025. She completed her BA in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the Department of English Language, Institute of Modern Languages, University of Dhaka, securing merit positions in both programs.
As an early-career educator, Tasmania is committed to continuous professional development, regularly participating in training, workshops, and developmental programs. Guided by the belief that teaching can “bring out the magic in each learner,” she strives to inspire confidence, foster critical thinking, and nurture students’ potential. Her research interests include English language teaching, curriculum development, technology integration in education, and applied linguistics. Tasmania is passionate about creating inclusive, student-centered learning environments and integrating innovative teaching practices to support both academic and personal growth.
