Lubaba Nawar is a dedicated Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Presidency University, Dhaka. Holding both a BSS and MSS in Economics from the University of Dhaka—achieved with top academic honors and a government scholarship—she brings strong academic credentials to her role. Lubaba teaches a range of courses, including Development Economics, Environmental Economics, and Applied Mathematics, and has played a leading role in designing an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum approved by the UGC. She also gained valuable hands-on experience through an internship with the SANEM think tank, contributing to a World Bank–supported project on improving urban service delivery.

Bachelor’s (Hons.) and Master’s (MSS) in Economics from the University of Dhaka, achieving top academic results and awarded a government scholarship for honors performance.
