General Information

Professor Dr. S. M. Hassan Talukder is an accomplished academic and legal scholar currently serving as the Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra University, Bangladesh since September 2024. With more than 28 years of teaching experience, he has held significant academic positions including Chairman and Professor of the Department of Law, University of Dhaka. He joined the Department of Law, University of Dhaka as an Assistant Professor on 10 May 2006 and became Professor in 2013.

He has extensive expertise in Constitutional Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Legal and Constitutional History of Bangladesh, Law of Natural Resources, Interpretation of Statutes, Labour and Industrial Law, and Law of International Institutions.
