Gendered Food Insecurity in Bangladesh: An Assessment using Food Insecurity

• Objective: Examined gender differences in household food insecurity and identified socio-economic, demographic, and household characteristics contributing to food security disparities.
• Methodology: Quantitative analysis utilizing micro-level household data from the Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) 2022.

Exploring the impact of socioeconomic status (SES) on the prevalence of chronic illnesses among the working age population: In the context of Bangladesh (2024)

• Type: Undergraduate Research Monograph, Supervisor: Sayed Jubair Bin Hossain, Lecturer, Department of Economics, University of Dhaka.
• Objective: Investigated the impact of socioeconomic inequality on chronic illness prevalence among the working-age population in Bangladesh.
• Methodology: Quantitative analysis utilizing micro-level household data from the Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) 2022.

My research interests lie in microeconomics and applied econometrics, with a focus on health and development economics, poverty and inequality, and policy-relevant analysis using micro-level household data.
