Abuzar Gifari is currently serving as the Lecturer at Presidency University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has working experience in different research and law institutes. He worked as a research officer at the International Institute of Law and Diplomacy (IILD). His research experience also includes serving as a Researcher for the Constitution Reform Commission, where he reviewed global constitutional frameworks and contributed to policy recommendations for constitutional reforms in Bangladesh. Besides, he was involved with some voluntary organizations as well. For instance, he worked as a deputy director of Law and Justice Study Center (LJSC) and editor at Dhaka University Law and Politics Review (DULPR). In his academic career, he completed his LLB with the highest grade from the University of Dhaka. He pursued his LLM in International and Comparative Law from the Same University. He obtained the first position in LLM also. In addition, he obtained multiple scholarships and awards for his outstanding performance in the academic area. In addition, he regularly writes in national newspapers on different legal and social issues. He also writes short articles in various national and international law blogs. His area of interests includes Family Law, Human Rights Law, Constitutionalism, Criminal justice, and Intellectual Property laws. Beyond academia, he is deeply involved in legal advocacy and community work. As a volunteer with organizations like the Fresh Water Foundation, Human Rights Support Society, and Civitas Legum, he has contributed to human rights research, legal aid initiatives, and social justice projects. With a commitment to legal education, policy reform, and social justice, he continuously seeks opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the legal field.
