Dr. Abul Hasanat is serving as Joint Secretary (Training Branch) (District Judge) in the Law and Justice Division, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (England).
His areas of research and teaching interests include environmental law, constitutional law, criminal law, international human rights law, and civil litigation. He has extensive judicial, academic, and research experience both in Bangladesh and abroad.
