The Department of Law and Justice at Presidency University offers both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law, designed to equip students with a strong foundation in legal theory and practical skills. Needless to say, LLM program is divided into two. One is for 1 year and the other is for 2 years. Students who have completed 4-year long LLB program from any university are eligible to admit in 1-year LLM whereas those who have completed 2-year long LLB under the National University have to admit in 2-year LLM. The department is supported by a group of highly qualified and experienced faculty members who graduated from the University of Dhaka. They not only deliver quality legal education but also mentor students in developing critical thinking, research abilities, and professional competencies necessary for a successful legal career. In addition to academic excellence, the department places strong emphasis on co-curricular engagement. Students are actively encouraged to participate in moot court competitions, debates, legal writing, and other skill-building activities. Many of our students have already represented the university at prestigious national and international competitions, bringing recognition and pride to the institution. With its blend of rigorous academics and rich extracurricular opportunities, the Department of Law and Justice strives to produce competent, ethical, and socially responsible legal professionals.
