“Thesis Defended!” is a goal for every undergrad. Presidency University’s CSE Department conducted its much-anticipated thesis defense successfully. Ten students submitted their final theses to the Examination board.
Prof. Dr. Shahidul Islam Khan Nayeem, Head of the CSE Department of Presidency University acted as the chair of the Examination board. Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Head of the Department of EEE was the external board member and his presence filled the atmosphere with more courage and enthusiasm. The Department of CSE’s senior faculty, Prof. Dr. Md. Hakikur Rahman, and brilliant lecturers Nazmul Hasan and Sheikh Hasanul Banna comprised the internal board panel. The suggestions and critiques increased the pupils’ technical proficiency allowing them to improve their work significantly.
Student demonstrations included innovative subjects such as Automated Genome Sequencing for diseases, AI-driven data sharing protection, IoT-based smart gadgets, Blockchain applications, and AI-driven camera systems for easy attendance. Interestingly, students of all levels collaborated or took solo steps toward such innovative achievements. The faculty panel asked insightful questions throughout the defense. Students presented their study in detail and logically handled complex subjects.
After further reviews, these researchs will be published in international journals and conferences.
